Nicaragua May 2011
The link below is a video of images from our most recent trip to Nicaragua. Nicaragua is actually the second poorest country in the western hemisphere. There is great need there. However, with all of their "lack" the people are so wonderful. I met some of the most giving people I've ever met while we were there. I absolutely fell in love with Pastor Carlos and Luis Garcia and their church Iglesia la Gran Cosecha (Church of the Great Harvest) and they truly understand the principle of sowing and reaping.
Happy New Year!
Welcome all to 2011! I am expecting this is to be a great year! Not only will you be able to tear down walls and ceilings that have been holding you back from your purpose, but you WILL see the harvest for the seeds you've sown! This is the year for your breakthrough!
Be blessed. Be encouraged. Stay focused. Experience God's faithfulness.
Oak Tree Studios, Friday May 14
We had a great experience in Nashville on Friday at Oak Tree! We are moving right along on our new worship project! I can't wait for everyone to hear it. Here is a photo of us in the vocal booth laying down rough tracks. We also had our picture taken with their Grammy and their Dove award. We have to get use to holding them for the future... prophetically speaking!
Please continue to be in prayer about how you can help us out with this project. If you are interested in donating toward this cause, you can use give via PayPal using the following email address: donate@wolministry.org.
Tracking at the Studio
Tomorrow April and I will be heading to Nashville to track for our upcoming worship album. I am so excited! For those of you who don't know, we are working with producers Paul and Tre' Corley at Oak Tree Productions. www.oaktreestudio.com. They are great guys and very ministry minded... a perfect fit for what God has called April and me to. Thank you to everyone who has given us financial support to help make this happen! We are well on our way, but we still have quite a journey ahead.
Life as I've known it from Friday until now!
Well, my weekend was great! Friday night in Nashville was a lot of fun! Yes, it took me a while to get up the nerve to dance, but, hey, I did it! Not well, but I did it!
April and I spent Saturday just hanging out in Nashville, eating barbecue, and acting like tourists. That night I went with my mother to a benefit concert with The Forester Sisters. Girls, if you read this... you need to do that more often! You have not lost your touch! Country music still needs you!!!
